Much like the Cregg hire, I was hoping O would be on the ball and would have named Briles/Freeze/whoever after announcing Canada would part ways.

He probably has someone ready to come in. Usually coaches don't fire coordinators without having some sort of commitment waiting in the wings from another guy.
Don't get the hate for Ensminger, he tends to work well with what is given to him. Wasn't he the OC at Auburn when Jason Campbell was there?

My concern is that Kendal has worked for two of the brightest offensive head coaches in CFB. How much of that Baylor offense was Art's? Did Kendal even call plays at FAU?

According to a lawsuit filed in January 2017, a Baylor graduate alleges she was gang raped by two football players in 2013. In addition, allegedly more than 50 instances of rape, committed by 31 football players, occurred between 2011 and 2014. The lawsuit alleges Kendal Briles, former Baylor assistant coach, encouraged these actions and onced asked a Dallas potential recruit: "Do you like white women? Because we have a lot of them at Baylor and they love football players."

Not that I support the hiring of a Briles what so ever but it will never happen; unless he & O coached together, or went to school together, or have a duck lease together. O wants “yes men”. Canada didn’t go along with that, so he’s out. It’s Ensminger or another one of O’s buddies. At this point, we should all hope he & Freeze are still buddies.

If the Falcons don't make the playoffs then your new OC will be named shortly after the last NFL regular season weekend.
