In Kelly's second interview with Rich, he talks about baring his emotions after the win, and Tiger Stadium living up to the hype on Saturday night with LSU vs Saban and Alabama.
Kelly on what made him emotional - You make a big move with your family from the Northeast and East coast to the south, now to move the (LSU) program along to the level that we did in a short period of time, and to beat the standard bearer of success in college football, Alabama, you can't help but be emotional. All that was part of it, and the (LSU) crowd was amazing, sometimes hype doesn't realize itself when you have all this talk about the stadium, Tiger Stadium and Death Valley, but it lived up to it, the environment was amazing.
Kelly talks about the hard work of LSU's unheralded freshman TE Mason Taylor, who is now considered the no.1 freshman TE in college football. And talks about the TE he lost in recruiting to Bama, who Kelly danced with because he asked Kelly to.
Rich asked about LSU possibly being in the playoffs. Kelly noted that back in January, LSU was down to only 39 players, back then he was just trying to get an LSU team that was competitive in the SEC. Right now, Kelly says he isn't thinking about the playoffs, but if LSU can get through these remaining regular season games then beat the no.1 team, LSU will have a resume that will stand up!

I like when Eisen try to get on him about how bad his dance moves were, Coach Kelly hit him with Eisen’s 40 yard dash run. Eisen said ok you got me, I deserved that lol.

Has he even played for Bama? He must feel like a real idiot knowing Kelly’s history with TE’s .Plus seeing Taylor light it up and progress throughout the year.

Kelly’s a quick thinker, just like he was on LSU’s 2 pt conversion. Listening to the whole interview, Kelly loves everything about LSU, the Stadium, the fans, his players, recruiting here, and competing against Saban every year.

For me and probably many LSU fans, it’s like smoking crack. Keep wanting more!

Wow, Coach Kelly truly gets it. Real professional. Can Coach pretty damn well, too.
LSU is in for a good run under this man’s leadership.

Man, I’ve never experienced the Stadium being better. It was surreal

Kelly’s interviews are like a breath of fresh air. Miles’ were entertaining but head-scratching at times. Orgeron’s were brief and superficial. Kelly isn’t long-winded but there’s genuine information, often with subtle wit that reveals more warmth than previously expected.

His interviews are educational and enlightening, I would not say that about any other LSU coach. Saban was great but was not this open to fans.
