Daniels for the most part was very accurate, throwing medium long and short passes in LSU’s bowl win. He was instinctively throwing passes before our receiver made the cut. He’s improving as will Nuss.

And Howard knows he knows another year to to be ready for 2024.

Seems he was overrated out of high school. He didn’t look like much the other day.
I guess the kid for AnM was a true 5*
He beat the west champions as a true freshman.
Kinda frustrating that true freshman QBs can compete at other programs but our guys take years to develop.

The kid at A&M also started his career 0-3 with losses to Ole Miss, Florida, and Auburn. He played well against LSU, but most QBs are going to win when they have a RB go for over 200 and are spotted a defensive TD.

Weigman is going to have a rough season next year because Jimbo is still the coach.

A&M was successful on third, fourth down 70% of the time but the big problem in that game to some is the QB play. lol

In games where Jayden is a ball hog, we lose.

His weakness is distributing the football which is his job.

Until that improves, we will be a two QB team. Why do people have issues with truth?

That’s really a strange take since we were not a two quarterback team all season and we have a head coach who’s already stated that JD is the quarterback next year.

We lose

In games where one team is converting on third, fourth down 70% of the time, we gonna lose as well.

Last two games we were and will be going forward.

Hopefully an offseason with his WRs will allow JD to trust his guys more and to distribute it to playmakers.

Jayden is a “ball hog” because he’s lost playing QB.

He looked really good in a couple of games, so I know he can play at a high level, just not consistently.

I do think an offseason with his WRs could cause him to become a complete player.

Yes it is. Look, let’s see if Daniels can actually win some games next year. I bet this board will be filled with resentment and regret when it does not happen.

For figs.

Nothing I said was untrue. He's not a consistent QB, and when he's not distributing well, we lose.

He doesn't trust his skill position players at times.

The last two games

Do you mean 2 blow out games? I wonder what the rants take would have been if we hadn’t given our second and third string guys playing time in those two games? I don’t think that signifies a sudden change in Kelly’s O philosophy.

I too would like to see a more down field passing attack as long as it doesn’t include lots of interceptions.

When was the last time we won a championship with a young, unproven QB who we wanted to rush onto the field out of our own selfishness? Nuss is not Tua, Bryce Young, or Trevor Lawrence.

The best thing for him to do is compete this offseason and hope that Howard doesn't pass him. He will play next year and at least put himself in position to have film to use to boost his stock if he transfers. Right now, the only thing people see is a strong arm and pick 6's.

Well, you have two QBs here who don't have any middle ground, so you'll use both.

Head Coach Brian Kelly said the turning point in the game was the scoop and score. He exact words were "we never recovered"

The scoop and score happened because:
a) Daniels cannot consistently find or throw open receivers
b) Daniels is a sack machine
c) Daniels thinks he can outrun everyone on the field
d) Daniels refuses to simply throw the ball away, in order to protect his comp %

In the Bama game he accounted for over 75% of our offensive production and as I recall, that turned out to be a pretty big win for us.

Who knows what our O philosophy will be next year, but I have seen no evidence that Kelly has any interest in running a 2 quarterback system.
