Saw this stat on ESPN and is kind of telling. He doesn’t seem like a consistent big game coach for the $10MM price tag he comes with.

Coaching matters but players matter more in college football. His teams have just not had the talent to play with top 10 teams at ND and his 2 years here.

He’s not recruiting very well, so don’t expect improvement

He will recruit the same kind of talent to here that he had at ND. That’s all he can do. ND isn’t the issue. He is

Idk there is better talent in LA than Indiana, he’s got like 13 out of the top 15 ranked LA guys, yes he dropped the top 2 ranked guys but usuallly there are more than just 2 nfl draft picks from La each cycle.

How is this team softer than last year. Kelly is the problem

BK is not a big game type HC.

He always fails in the big ones.

Yea, he can win a big one every now and then but is not nearly as consistent as a big time program needs.

I really didn’t want to believe the whole “big game Kelly” schtick, but I’m really beginning to think it’s a real damn thing…

That’s three out of the last 4 games we’ve been blown out, not just lost, but blown the frick out.

UGA is excusable, but aggy and now FSU? And what’s more, Kelly looked absolutely shocked against both aggy and now FSU…

Not only that but the games seem to have the same trend. Desperate coaching decisions early in games and abandoning gameplans as soon as we’re trailing.

Brian Kelly is not the recruiter or the coach as Nick Saban or Kirby Smart .
I guess Scott Woodward got the best coach available at the time but I don’t see value in this $10 million per year Brian Kelly.
