Espescially after a good first half.

It's not so much that KW should have gotten in at CS's expense but that we had two studs a RB and such terrible numbers. Obviously the line had a lot to do with that but what a waste.

As someone who played against keiland in highschool i saw that he had special ability all the way back in his northside days. At lsu, he would go in for 4 plays get 5-7 yards a pop and would never go back in. It always seems like he was one cut or broken tackle away from huge runs; i never understood why he wasn't utilized more.

maybe KEILAND wasted his time here?

considering Mike Ford got no carries last week, despite being the most talented RB on the team...
maybe, just maybe, it wasn't KW's fault after all.

the same goes for all the blame that went Jimbo Fisher's way and now goes GC's way

We can't keep blaming the players, or the OC or the dual DCs or the officials or the game clock.

At some point, the $4.5MM CEO has to be held accountable. Period.

Keiland will rush for 1000 yards in a season in the NFL someday. Fact.

Its unbelieveable that the KW lovers fail to remember how poorly he ran in his last year at LSU (that is untill his last game, in which he looked awesome.) Granted he was in a weird situation at LSU with so many things that put him at a disadvantage, but he was not a great back. Just good. Maybe very good. I'm glad he's making the most of his opportunity with the Skins, but Miles was not to blame for KW so-so college career; KW is.

KW was our best running back last year. It's like y'all make shite up to bring him down.

If he hasn't ever had a carry in live game action, how the hell are you prepared to say he's the most talented RB on the team?

On a separate note, what does it say that Miles was able to get 1200 yards out of a FB/HB in 2008 that failed to make an NFL roster?

It says that we still had a good offensive line in 2008, because in 2009 that same running back was much less effective and went out with a season-ending injury. What does it say that the backup to this same running back made a roster, while this guy couldn't?

This is more or less the question I was posing. What do the "pro careers" of players like Charles Scott and Al Woods say about MIles? If they were signed to a team and but failed to make a roster, does it mean that Miles was able to extract the most he could from his players, or the Rant logic that he "failed to develop" them? If it's the latter, then what how were they able to get drafted in the first place?

This.

And we was probably our best RB in 2007 and 2008. He was definitely our best back in 2006.

Someday someone is going to let the fanbase know the real backstory behind Les and Co.'s complete mishandling of William's career at LSU.

He had 8 carries through a 5 game stretch last year. How the hell is he supposed to run well if he doesn't get carries.

I like Keiland, and I think he should have started over Scott, but making the roster on a terrible NFL team and having Mike Shanahans 30 year old son saying he ran "well" in the preseason is hardly proof that Miles made the wrong choice.

It's ridiculous. The guy only carried the ball 10+ times in a game 10 times out of the 47 total games he played. It really is remarkable how les miles completely just mishandled that whole situation. He was probably our best guy in the backfield for 3, maybe 4 of the years he was here but he never really got the chance to show, in a game, what he could do.

Hitman is a racist piece of shite who went to the same high school as Ridley. Their league is 99.999% white players but I guess Ridley gets a token pass for going to that school, so he has posted non-stop shite about Charles Scott and Keiland for the past 3 or so years on here. He made up a story that Charles Scott announced to the team in the locker room that he was turning pro as a junior in some attempt to get people on here to hate Scott and then he started making up stories about Keiland fighting teammates at practice after that didn't work.

Check out his posting history, he is the most delusional Ridley supporter in the world. Ridley had the best game by an LSU RB in history per him against UNC other than the fumbles.

hitman scouting report from the 08 spring game

quote:

#34, Ridley, really surprised me at the spring game and showed a hard running style with quickness that we seem not to have with #5 having trouble in traffic and #32 not to nimble. Also Ridley is at 234 !!

notice he was still pretending to not be a blind Ridley homer back then

is there more to kyle shanahans quote? am i not seeing the whole thing? or do you people just look for any reason to bash Miles? In this case, because Keiland ran "well" in preseason, and beat out Willie Parker, who has sucked since he broke his leg in 2007, and Ryan Torian, who I dont think even exists.

I'm not even basing anything about the quote. The guy should've gotten his chances. Plain and simple. He was an enormous talent coming out of the military academy. He deserved his shots and miles never gave them to him.

Maximus is correct in all of his assessment of me. First time the dude has been right. My "shite" about KW and CS was maybe not right on ( closer than you realize) but better than his. Puts Maximus in a quandry... I've been spot on about Ridley, however, and my comments have been far from praise. A racist ??? Dude, it gets old when that crap comes out. Seems a dictionary could do you good.. can you read ???

Then why all of a sudden is Keiland an NFL caliber back who understands the game and runs without fear of contact? If the Redskins coaches are impressed with him, why weren't the LSU coaches?

Well in spite of all this, he now has his chance. I hope he does well. GEAUX KW!!
