Nah the band still plays it. It might as well be gone. All I do is win and All of the lights are so much better out of those types of songs.

Did you happen to catch what VOR posted earlier? Apparently there is talk that the LSU administration is about to crack down on this and may stop the band from playing at all while in the stands.

I would be all for this for a game or 2. Kinda like giving the students a "time out". Then bring back the playing a few games later. Maybe if the dumbass students who do the chants see that the administration means business, then perhaps the chants will stop.
Like I said earlier, the students are like the bitchy little kids who are pushing their parents to see how far they can go. It is now time for the parents (administration) to put their foot down and re-gain control.

Perhaps, but it will ruin the experience for everyone else in the stadium....not that the students give a damn.

They've played it after games before, but this is the first season they've played it AT games.
And it only lasted 3 games.

I agree...and I feel bad for the kids in the band who don't want to sit on their arse most of the game and do nothing. However, right now, the students are about to be the reason why we all can't have nice things.

Here's an idea.
The next time it happens eject an entire row of students from the stadium. The second time eject another row, etc.. etc.
Sure that's arbitrary and some innocent students possibly will suffer the consequences. That is precisely what will make this idea work.

I hope to hell that the LSU administration at least issues a warning. I'd hate for the us to get into a close game at home with USCe or Bama and the band just sit there when we need them to fire up the crowd.
