I'm not sure what the idiots think. The University can not have it look as if the band is participating in a vulgar chant. Therefore, since students can't show any maturity, we'll get more piped in music during tv timeouts.

Yea, the ole beat the ever living shite out of them line was never funny to begin with, but now it's just aggravating. Not to mention trying to shout the lines to neck to just about any song the band plays makes you look like a high school student.

Your talking about 18-22 yr olds who have been drinking all day...I heard bullshite chants during the USC/Stanford game. I'm sure it's just our students though.

The more they make a big deal about it and ban things it just makes it worse

Wisconsin does the "frick you, eat shite" chant...it's nothing new, college students will be college students

The more the admin tries to stop it the bigger it gets... They would be better off just ignoring it and telling tv stations not to put a mic by the student section

The difference in the chants from the other schools is that the band isn't playing along with the chant. Why don't you understand that the University can not have the appearance of encouraging that type of language.
