You sure do make a lot of assumptions. Subject to prejudices? Prove if, provide examples.

Ah, the famous, well worn end all liberal talking point. Again, examples or are you just assuming?

Remember, it was the players who made race a talking point at LSU. They wanted a "discussion." A discussion is going to have hard realities, not just acceptance of their demands and "their truth." If presenting a counterargument in reference to a claim another race is making is racist, then why aren't you calling the privileged black athletes who started this activism racist?

No. In fact, politics was out until you brought it in.

Totally. If we were 6-1, everyone would be saying that the friction "brought the players together" or something along those lines.

More false accusations and assumptions. If anyone runs opposite of the narrative that blacks are held down, whites only got what they have due to white privilege, and whites are racist, blacks can't be...it's, you guessed it...RACIST!!!

Yeah, frick me and my racist white arse for contributing thousands of my hard earned dollars supporting a majority black team for decades, foreseeing that this "activism" wasn't going to be good for the team, disagreeing with their motives and agenda on a fricking LSU sports message board (oh, the horror). They brought this upon themselves and I don't feel bad for them in the least. You don't get the kick the ant pile without coming away with a few bites. Most fans and people on this board had to get out loans to go to school and we didn't get to play the game we love in front of thousands while auditioning to make millions in the NFL (due to their athletic privilege).

Maybe not to get there..... but they damn sure need us as do owners and everyone else involved to pay for it all by spending our money their “objects” employees/players.

Don’t bite the fricking have that feeds you....... if you still can’t understand.

Have they accepted the fact their teammates like to rape and assault young women?

Right, I'm self absorbed. You got that from me expressing my views on their role as a student-athlete and my criticism of their BS activism which supposedly is causing problems for program I put thousands into? Nah, I have no reason to be upset or express my views or anything on a god damn message board.

I'd turn that around and say it's the self-absorbed players with there "got ya" commitment ceremonies, constant craving for likes and attention on social media, and cry-baby attitudes that are the self absorbed ones. Crying on social media when some fans disagree with their misguided, bullshite activism and how they handled it.

How the frick can you seriously say they didn't bring it to the forefront, they organized multiple marches and went on social media with it. THAT's BRINGING IT TO THE FOREFRONT

What a horrible thread. Guys, there will always be massive differences of opinion because we all have so many perspectives due to our backgrounds. It’s what makes our country great, but also is our achilles heal. Listen to understand. Have humility to love. This is for ALL sides.

And, YES, Ed should have recognized this is where his team was. Young people are idealistic. His job is to lead them. Sometimes leadership means embracing and leading through action.

So you're assuming that all the rapists are black? Interesting. Shouldn't you be at a rally right now.

It’s about leverage. Media and Democrats are pushing this narrative to establish leverage. Unfortunately they have ignorant people listening to them that will take the actions to destroy establishment.
This potentially hurts college sports and will eliminate scholarships for others moving forward. Cant see the forest from the trees.

A coach cant be one way in the locker room and then go on Fox praising the President without expecting backlash
you mean the president that enacted policies that resulted in historically low black unemployment and wage gains? And the president that got double the percentage of the black vote as he did in 2016?

That guy?
