My ideal season?

Miles sticks the horseshoe back up his arse and wins out in his maddening, frustrating way.

He retires.

Herman or Fisher take over in 2017.

Where do I draw the line on retaining him if he wants to stay?

SEC championship or he's gone.

And my understanding is, that is the ultimatum Alleva gave him.

Jacksonville State scored 13 points. Not exactly setting the world on fire.

Did not say they scored a lot or put the world on fire.
But, they did move the ball well on our defense. If you don't think so your wrong.

Yea, they moved the ball so well they only scored 13. Man I wish we could move the ball like that every game.

Ok. Doesn't make your post any less irrelevant. You're pulling a RedTigerRulz and trying to invent an argument out of nowhere.

If we won the NC this year I would personally give money to keep Miles- but lets be serious, at this point, I don't see us even making a BCS bowl or Top 10. We are not a dominating team!

Not yet.

I remember a bama team that lost to ole miss and went on to dominate.

That could be us.

Coaches feed off their own ego. I'm sure there would plenty of interest from some good coaches....most of whom would certainly believe they could equal or surpass what Miles has done here. I mean, who would want them if they didnt believe they could win and win big soon.

No one in the coaching ranks is feeling sorry for Miles right now. Hes made millions and has made the bed he's currently lying in. You really dont believe theres some good ones out there that would look at our program objectively and say...I can do better than that?

If you dont....arent you selling our program short?

If I were a top coach I'd look at this messageboard and that half empty stadium and say to myself "Wow. This coach won 80% of his games and a national championship, graduates his players, runs a clean program, and this is how the fanbase treats him because they don't like the offense he runs." and go find another job somewhere else

hopefully he would retire. If not, he'll probably get a raise and an extension.

well thankfully youre not. If a top coach is reading this board, we dont need him. furthermore, I would assume said coach would be formulating a plan to put azzes back in the seats for the duration rather than lamenting the fact that "everyone ran off and left me."

Geez, grow a pair dude!

I really think the Wisconsin game is the best thing that could have happened to Les. He's old and hard headed, and it got his attention. He knows he's got to win out to keep his job.

Barely keeping his job didn't get his attention?

Nah, I was simply stating fans are allowed to expect better QB play over the course of 24 games.

Why did you say "only" then? Curious

"Only" since 2013? You do realize it's 2016, correct?

The guy said he expects more than better QB play after 4 years. 2013, whine we 3000 passing yards, was only 2 seasons ago. His 4 year number was completely made up. I was correcting him. Why you're choosing to try to start shite over it I'll never know.
