That's not a good thing because if you're betting the over you're trying to be greedy instead of letting the game play out organically. Makes sense why he got frustrated since he wanted the yards both for stats and money.

Also,

His first catch for the next game, against USL I think, was also for a touchdown, giving him 6 straight catches for TD’s, which I think is an NCAA record, tied by others.

I saw Carson score those five TDs against Rice.
Funny that a lot of people remember Al Coffee, who also was fast, but Carson, who is barely remembered, eclipsed Coffee's career production in that one game...

I didn't see them but I listened to John Ward on WWL describe them. Surprising because in those days we didn't pass much.
