Is he running track? Thought it strange that a guy with elite talent would skip running track for LSU. He ran a 46.07 400 meter time at the Junior Olympics...1st place.

He looked pretty good from what I saw. I know he has elite speed, but he also kept some pretty tight coverage on Odell when he covered him

To your original question - I've wondered the same thing, but have never seen his name on LSU's T&F roster. His name's not there now:

So upset that I couldn't make the spring game. Love watching the young up & coming talent like Kavahra. So I guess the receiver not covered by Kavahra made the big reception on all the long pass plays?

There was a track meet on campus today at the same time as the Spring Game. Kavara was playing football. Not saying he doesn't run track as well, but football definately takes precedence over track.
