If you’re a hard worker and not emotionally dependent on food you should be able to lose weight.
I was Never worried about Thomas.
He’s a hard worker, and probably was never told to do anything besides gain weight since he was a kid.
Just help him figure out how much he needs to eat and he’ll work his was to a good playing weight.
