Wish they would just stick around and see that Mett isn't a fricking JJ or JL.

In my most negative outlook on the situation, is it possible they know a little something about Mett? They have surely seen him practice.

Boone leaving sucks but LSU will be fine at the WR position. It's not like Boone was behind 2 freshmen WRs this season...oh wait

Does LSU have to grant them a transfer? Can LSU refuse to give them permission to transfer? I realize that it would be a bad move to have someone who doesn't want to be here causing havoc, but is it an option?

Anyone can transfer anywhere at any time. The NCAA (or LSU) can't prevent you from going to another school to go to college; you're not their slave. What they can do is prevent you from participating in sports or accepting an athletic scholarship at the second school.

The general rule is you have to sit out of sports one year in any I-A to I-A transfer (this is subject to some exceptions not important here). The "release" matters only for your scholarship. If your original school doesn't grant you a release, you cannot be on scholarship during your sit-out year and you would have to pay your own way. If they do grant the release, you can be on scholarship even though you can't play.

are on the team doesn't mean we will ever throw again, See JL

You mean, we didn't just start flinging the ball with the guy known around the country as Pick 6?

Are you kidding me? Mett was on the bench with JL watching our team 2 touchdowns behind and Les was still intent on just running the ball. Les has himself to blame for this mess.

with Mettenberger and Kiel throwing the ball to them? makes no sense

That won't matter with Les pulling favoritism and using only the 1st page of the playbook

Boone caught a TD pass from Mett that can only be described as a heat seeking missile. you'd think he'd wanna stick around for more.

Can these people freaking wait a week and let their heads cool down for a minute. Think about the whole season and what's coming in the future then what happened in one freaking game. Good lord.

Probably read this website and saw all the doom and gloom after one freaking loss.

He wasn't exactly a great passer, either.
