It was called a dead ball strike if there were two strikes he would be out.

It wasn't a foul ball.

It was a strike because he swung. However, when the ball hit his hand it was immediately dead.

Broadcast kept saying foul ball must have missed the change to the strike call.

I think it hit the bat and if anything bounced off his finger somewhat. Then went fair.

Wouldn’t this be like a foul ball in the box? Normally you see it off the leg or foot, but I think this is the reason it was a strike.
