You realize if we do that, it'd be a violation of Title IX and then we wouldn't have a men's team either.

Baseball players don’t come to LSU for money, they come to LSU for the reason DBs came to play. History, future, notability, and big league resume. Baseball players have a completely different mindset.

It is a DECENT sport and I actually watch a good bit of it ( including Texas /TCU right now )! But the women are inferior athletes - they are smaller , slower , weaker , can’t jump as high etc etc ! What they can do is equal a number of SKILL sets such as shooting , passing , screening , moving without the ball. Put a great woman shooter against a guy in a game of horse ( excluding dunks ) and you can have a decent competition but it ends there !

All of the sports lobby the AD for funds. He approved the expenses as he sees fit. I believe WBB spends the second highest amount behind football because Woody wants it that way. MBB is next and then baseball. Someone can check me on that, but ftom the numbers posted here I believe that’s correct.
The main thing id don’t look at each sport as a profit center. There is no mandate to turn a profit. The mandate is to compete and win championships.
It really is that simple. I just laugh at all these morons talking about "losing money, as if all these sports are supposed to turn profits. The money spent on sports is an investment and the return, in this case, is not "making money".
