Well, if Miles said JJ will get playing time then I guess he will. Though I don't think this bodes well for our season. I think this says that our QB position may be pretty weak this year.

Hatch is the man...book it..J Lee may get a chance during the season. JJ will not be the man. I am however, anxious to see him on the field. But I am realistic enough to know that this will not occur in the timeframe you infer it will.

Was JJ one of the kids to graduate early and come to LSU for the spring? I know we had a couple. He would have a much better shot if that were the case.

naw JJ didn't graduate early
and dodd most feel Shepp will play his freshmen year because of what he brings to the table as a runner. No one is writing off JJ, if anything I've seen mroe threads expecting him to come in and start this year

Could be interesting in 09.
JJ started 21 games in HS, and won all 21. The guy must be a flat out winner. Then factor in the 09 recruits, and Hatch and Lee with experience. Could be tough to pick a guy.
