most of his throws would be INTs in NCAA, just like most of his runs would be sacks...

Anybody else think that what we saw from JJ (and didn't see from RS) this year was an overreaction by Crowton to the interceptions from last year? Seems like the guy was terrified to let the qb's make mistakes this year. After seeing Lee last year, maybe he was a little too overprotective with RS this year. Just a theory.

It's a shame Doc. I'm with you.

Is the LSU defense outmanned and outcoached?
oh wait, don't answer that

Where is all the outrage that Randle didn't attempt a pass this year? He was a QB in high school, too. The fact is that neither are currently college QBs. Shep should have played more, but him not getting more catches, handoffs, and pitches is the much more egregious error than him not throwing a fricking trick pass one fricking time.

what?
not ONE throw?
ONE PASS ATTEMPT?
give me a fricking break
Im not saying he shouldnt have thrown the ball a few times....i said consistently.
I have issues with Crowton just like everyone...i just think there are bigger problems than RS throwing the ball.

quote:I laugh every time I hear the "best" players are not playing because the rant is upset that some freshman is not getting enough playing time. Shep has his chances to get more playing time and he had trouble lining up correctly and holding on to the ball. In addition, he got dumped on his head a couple of times because he is undersized with an aggressive running style. He is a great talent but needs time to mature and learn the offense better so you don't have to hold your breath every time he comes on the field.
yall watch practice every day?
Do you?

Exactly. Shep not throwing a pass would not be in the top 100 issues with this offense.

Yeah, for one season because Bastrop had nobody.
Miles told Shep he would play QB. He lied, obviously.
