Only can speak for myself, but I bet there are others like me who have alot of money tied up in this trip and can't afford to wait and hope on the September clearance sale.
I just don't understand why people really care what other people pay for tickets. I don't care if the guy next to me in Dallas paid $70 or $1000, he's there for the party and that's what matters most. To each their own.

I paid north of $300 per seat but have a free flight and free place to stay in dallas fpr the entire holiday weekend so it was easy to justify. I am coming from nevada so i could not risk striking out on tickets by waiting.

I can see paying a little more for the risk factor, but more than 2x face is pretty ridiculous

the high price only bothers those without the means or those who are penny pinchers, others will pay what they need to get what they want. I would be going as well but have to fly out on a business trip to China first thing Sunday morning, actually changed my flight from Sat to Sun to see the game on TV, which cost $400 to do.

Makes perfect sense to me...Since the game is on Sept. 3rd, I would imagine you could get a ticket for maybe $10 as early as Sept. 4th..
