Y'all are freaking out thinking these are drug suspensions.
LSU just concluded their Summer Intercession term which is generally the last ditch effort to get some guys academically eligible who have not been able to make the grade. If any are "out for the season" I'd be willing to bet they failed to meet the NCAA academic requirements

This is also a possibility, but I’ve not heard anyone speculate about a year long suspension.
Based on LSU’s history with these suspensions and the alleged six games trying to be reduced, it sure does look like a drug related deal.

If it wasn't illegal they wouldnt be suspended. So I'll be glad to continue to use that argument. They knew the rules, they willfully broke them there's no excuse for that.

For starters, my point had nothing to do with it being legal or illegal.
I was responding to someone else when you interjected yourself and decided to act like a woman over it. He mentioned it was simple because it was illegal. Which I agreed, I know it’s illegal in Louisiana FOR RECREATIONAL USE. I pointed out that it wouldn’t be long though. The point was just because something is illegal, doesn’t make it simple for a 18 or 19 year old. Also, you don’t know what that person is dealing with mentally, that the weed is helping them cope with. And it’s helping, believe me...or believe the scientist..as I also mentioned.
