For a change, I have full trust in our head coach to properly evaluate this possibility. If Lane sees potential, I'm sure it'll be in the cards.

This. He would probably have to agree to a redshirt year for development, but I could see it as a possibility. If MVB leaves, we will have to bring in 3 QBs if not.

When the development across the board on offense was as subpar as we all saw, I’m hit sure we should take that assessment at face value.
If Lane says he’s not a P4 QB, I’ll trust that.
