Coach O went and got Joe Burrow… and also poached Joe Brady from the saints bc he saw his talent for calling plays in the red zone. Something that was lacking in 2018.
He saw a problem and addressed it so that 2019 talent was not wasted.

I will say nothing to defend our offensive staff. Our player development in game plans are atrocious.
However, I don’t think Josh Pate knows shite. I used to watch that guy’s show. He hems and haws through all of his predictions and leaves tons of room to explain afterward why he wasn’t wrong. Then he jumps on things once they have already happened.
You can hate our offensive staff, but I wouldn’t do it based off the word of that guy.
