If Stephen Garcia can play at South Carolina for 15 suspensions Josh can get a 6th at LSU.

I am not saying they won't, but given the fact that he has had a regular redshirt year with no medical waiver involved, I would not be surprised if it is not granted.

He supposedly had some injury issues his redshirt year. It shouldn't be too hard to justify. I think he will get another year

We really can't afford any more serious injuries along the o-line.

This. Probably our thinnest area this year as far as depth.

Right after Josh D's injury, maybe. Not so much now though.

They'll give him a medical redshirt, he didn't get to play at all this year

Redshirted players get 6th years all the time. See Richard Murphy, Kristen Pittman

Me either. However, if he's on track to graduate, or in graduate school by next year - I like his chances

Straight from Josh's mouth, he said that this is the second time he was out for the year with an injury.

Missed two years due to injury. For Josh to get the 6th year, his redshirt year has to be tied to an injury or some other reason beyond his control. If Miles and Josh are confident, then that must be the case.
