Wait, what? Who is hating on Lee. You need to calm down. People are discussing a situation.
Ohhh..now you get it, huh? Discussing a situation doesn't necessarily equal hate.
There are many reasons Miller didn't get the schollie, and Lee "graduating late" may have been on of them. At least Lee is getting a degree. If Miller wanted to come to LSU, he would be at LSU. I think Keil >>> Miller anyway.

You are rationalizing so you can blame J. Lee for the kid going to Auburn. There are many reasons that scholarship wasn't available.

And taking the #27 OT over the #1 QB does not count as "can be controlled".
Maybe this is what Miles should have told the kid. We took a top ranked QB for your spot.
Why would you tell him that? They still wanted him there this spring and the next 4-5 years. Do you really want to start things off with your future tackle telling him our future strarting qb took your scholarship? No. You tell him the truth that when we told 7 guys they could enroll early there were 7 spots. Unfortunately (for the 7 EEs) someone didnt graduate and a guy got a 6th year.

He worked hard to get out of school early to join LSU's team in the spring. We couldn't accommodate so I don't blame him for leaving. This wasn't some last minute news they told Miller either; LSU and Auburn guys said this was a long time coming.

You can blame Kiel for being the number 1 Qb in the nation. You can blame josh for getting hurt and working his but off 2 come back. You can blame JL for skipping class and not graduating on time with an extra redshirt year!! take your pick but im going with the dumb one and i know miles still mad about this. It basically came out his mouth that JL screwd us but you JL lovers just don't wanna admit it

Charlie just confimed Lee had to take the 2 week intersession classes to graduate. So technically he will not graduate until May. This is from Charle and Gordy.

Miller is ranked 27th on rivals, position rankings. Yeah, I believe there is a fairly large perceived difference.

There's less highly ranked QBs, hence the position of need.
247, which has better rankings than Rivals, has Kiel as a 98 and Miller as a 95. Miller's potential is outrageous.

You blame me, because you think it is easier.
I guess Scout, BBI, Ott, et al are all rationalizing to blame Lee too?

Kiel committed while Intercession was going on. I would wager that Miles was trying to get the NCAA to allow him to not count in the Spring. . .it didn't work out, and it cost Miller his spot.

Just because miles tells the family this doesn't mean it's true. Coaches, miles included, say lots of sh*t to recruits. Not all of it true. In order to save face on this, miles may invent his own reality to tell the family.

At least you will have something to bitch about the next 4 years.
Good for Lee getting his degree. He sat behind two of the worst QB performances I saw this year and couldn't do anything at the end of the year. He will never play in the NFL, and at least comes away with something.

The biggest flamer on the site accusing others of "attacking" when there's nothing more than a recounting of what's being reported.
Just classic.
Just classic.

IF this is the case, payback is hell. What goes around, comes around. Karma is a b*tch. U know why cliches are cliches- cuz they usually true.

Why is it when I try to stream 104.5 through my computer, I only get a music station?

Don't scholarships follow the academic year? That would mean a scholarship for the year begins in the first semester which begins in August. The JL scholarship only would hold him from enrolling early, this spring semester and not affect the scholarship for next year beginning in Aug 2012. If Miles told this kid what is being rumored then you got to wonder what Miles is up to or did he really want the kid to come here.
