Never said anything about JLEE should have it...I think all should be equal right now...I know JJ has an edge b/c of this last year as the starter, but in my mind he did nothing to secure his starting job...all im saying..

guess I'm a little confused. Are some of you folks actually criticizing Jefferson for the expression on his face? So if Lee throws a pick six a game but has a suitable expression on his face, that's OK?

Again, maybe you should read earlier quotes. I never said Lee should be starting or playing. But why do is it ok to criticize Lee and not JJ.

JJ = 112th Ranked O in the Nation in 09'

If he improves, outstanding, happy for him and the team. if he doesnt, move on...

no, but he is the leader of the offense.
to give JJ a pass on that stat by stating the above is showing your biasness just a tad bit.

I am sure it had nothing to do with the lack of run game, pass blocking, recievers dropping balls. I agree he is part of it but not all of it. Oh and he didnt turn the ball over like ya boy

b/c people in the post that think JJ is awesome see what they want to see and read what they want to read.

I havent read one person say they arent supporting JJ or that JL should start.
some of us just do not believe he is the player that others do.
Once again I hope the guy proves us wrong, he certinaly is gonna get his chance to.

lack of run game = Defenses didnt respect his throwing ability, therefore played bump and run nickel packages and loaded the box with 7-8 guys. you find 5 guys that can block 7-8 guys then call me...

pass blocking holds the ball way to long, doesnt recognize blitzes, or pick up hot routes from recievers...takes sacks doesnt throw it away.

recievers dropping balls how about Randle bailing his arse out in the ole Miss game?...yeah you forget about those...yes there were drops esp in the bowl game, he also needs to learn how to throw the ball with touch...Jamarcus did learn this his Jr year for what its worth...but thats two different guys.

lack of run game

What happened to the old saying. Set up the pass with the run?

quote:

According to this every sack was his fault because he held on to the ball too long regardless of how long it took the Dline to get to him. True 5 seconds might be too long but he cant pick up every blitz or rusher. Nobody can make every read and you make it sound like he doesnt make any read and every sack is his fault. Also would you rather him toss it like JL did or hold on to it a little bit too long. Pick your poison.

quote:

...yes there were drops esp in the bowl game

That was a huge problem all year. True Randle made some great catches and if he got the ball more that might have helped JJ.

ALL THREE HE DIRECTLY EFFECTS

You forget ALL THREE ARE DIRECTLY EFFECTED BY OTHERS AS WELL.

He is the difference between you JJ haters and other fans who are realistic. JJ isnt bad but he isnt great. He makes mistakes and he has things to work on. I acknowledge that. But at the same time he does things well which you choose to intentionally overlook. To lay ALL of the blame on JJ for this years offensive woes is beyond ignorant. To blame this years offensive woes on the Oline, Gary, and JJ is what most would agree with. I get you dont like him and I get that I like him as our qb. The difference in our opinions is that I can recognize and acknowledge the bad;however, you can't do the same with his good.
