BTW, the 2 NC's we have were with QB's that could manage the game and not turnover the ball.
Yeah--you would think people here would be happy to have a QB like JJ--who possess a style similar to that of Flynn or Mauck.
I wonder what their problem is?

Are you people fricking incapable of reading?
many here.. YES

I"m saying that if JJ still has no command of an intermediate and deep passing game, we WILL lose ball games and get the line stacked against us. If and only IF he can't improve why wouldn't you give Lee and 2nd chance?
b/c they personally despise him.. and its more imprtant for them to be right on a message board.

because JJ didn't throw a couple of hail mary's, in shitty throwing conditions.
How many good deep passes did he have against UW GT or Arky?

Oh, I get it. So, you want us to bench JJ in order to give JL a second chance, because JJ didn't throw a couple of hail mary's, in shitty throwing conditions.
ARe you really this dumb?
Get JJ's dick out of your mouth for a second adn listen up.
THe coaches need to start trying to have a passing attack. If JJ can cut it, great. If not, time to give someone else a chance-----be that Lee or Shep.

It doesn't matter who you put in at QB if the O-Line doesn't pass block.

JJ played an excellent game... PERIOD.
man, im not saying he played bad, he played good enough to win....but excellent??? "period"....???? no
he has a lot of work on..specifically, footwork, and holding the ball too long. He HAS to learn how to start feeling pressure.

JJ is more like Marcus Randall than any other QB that has come through LSU.
Can run, doesn't really make many D reads, chunks the ball deep and overthrows it 90% of the time.
Dickson getting held saved his arse, or that would've been a pick.

I wonder too off the corner.

Plus his Dizzy Dean windup will definitely cause fumbles this year and some of his passes getting to the WR just late b/c of it.

whatever dude, IMO only JJ starts over JL is b/c of his abiltiy to run the football.
Sure is hell inst for his passing.
Tough to throw ints when 75% of your throws/completions are for 5-6 yrds.
Like it or not people we are gonna have to delevop some sort of veritcl passing game.
This option shite and JJ take off running aint gonna work all year.
So I'm assuming you'll take JL's 2 INT per game average + his inability to make short touch passes + his inability to scramble to make plays over JJ.

OL has looked poor but you're going to have the kitchen sink thrown at you if you keep playing this lateral game.

Oh.
Okay.

No denying that Lee scored more points for our offense than Jefferson on average. FACT
FACTS:
JJ's first 2 games this season- BCS opponent on the road and a decent SEC team (remember Vandy was a bowl team last year with a bunch of returning starters) in a very wet game.
JL's first two games at home against Div. 1AA team in good weather and N. Texas.
I have nothing against JL and hope that he develops into a fine QB. I think he actually can. But at this point, criticisms of JJ are not really fair given the circumstances. Let's see how he performs in the next couple of games and then compare.

If all JJ keeps doing is running for minimal yardage on 3rd and long and overthrowing receives or chunking the ball out of bounds, just let him keep losing?
Or are you saying give Chris Garrett a chance? Personally, I believe Garrett's the most true pocket passer on the team. He's gonna be special in 3 years or so.

If he wins us games yes. You can say he LOST us 2 games last year.
