OL has looked poor but you're going to have the kitchen sink thrown at you if you keep playing this lateral game.

The posipucker cheerleaders seem to be having trouble understanding this. They wont "Get It" until we hit the meat of the S.E.C. schedule and get stopped dead in our tracks without a vertical passing game.

Better get JL in the game next week against U.S.L. and see if he can chunk it without the picks. Anybody that thinks we're not going to need him this year is truly deluded. We need to find out now if he has improved with his reads/progressions. Better find out against the Chili Peppers, rather than on the road at State and Georgia.

Maybe Miles/Crowton are just waiting to unveil the secret vertical passing game then. The Spread Option WITHOUT the option to pass downfield is not very effective.........

Yes we lost to UGA by 14 and he threw 2 pick 6

We were driving hard down the field until he threw his 2nd one. We could have tied the game. Yeah the D blew but it is on the QBs soldiers to win a game.

He played like shite in the Alabama game.

I agree but VERY limited time and ONLY if you have already tried to get JJ some timing or SOMETHING with the pass. Don't just say 'frick it he cant pass' and throw Lee in.

I definitely think we will need him at some point if JJ doesn't learn to get his arse down on the ground when he runs

Randle was on the field most of the night, in and out. Why were no balls thrown his way?

It is on QB and I think that is why he gets blame. His worst 3 games were our 3 biggest and that a problem. Had he played well in just 1 of those games people would not dog on him like they do.

Toliver should have been starting over Bryd last year as it became obvious that Bryd had given up.

Sure is hell inst for his passing.

Personally, I kinda like the idea of his completions going to LSU receivers and not the other team's defenders.

Could be variety of reasons. Jackson came to the fore tonight. Sometimes it is a matter of the chemistry with the receiver. Maybe the coaches want to get him comfortable just being on the field first. I'm sure he will get his chance.

His routes took him more than 8 yards down field?

How did Barkley perform better?

14/31, 198 yds, 1 INT

really?

like I said, maybe not Forcier, but all three got W's and looked good doing it (with Forcier looking spectacular)

If a running back fumbles 3 times a game do you still go to him the whole season? If LSU has no other option (like 02 with Randle) then we have to, but we have an option. Mauck wasn't a great QB but took care of the ball and if our D comes around (like it seems to be doing) we must take care of the ball.

He wasnt going up against Vandy at home either, that was Ohio State in the Horseshoe, and he had a hell of a drive to win the game for them, in his second game since setting foot on campus

JJ was 20-29 for 138, so with 6 more completions he managed 60 less yards

granted, he didnt turn the ball over, but only because of a penalty

Math is not a strong area for you huh?
16 INT 8 games started, 11 games played does not equal 3 a game now does it?
