we all see that Lee & Hatch aren't getting it done & are not the future of the program. Especially vs. Tulane, why wouldn't Miles/Crowton get Jefferson on there for some PT

Maybe they don't see that Lee isn't the future. They probaboy just don't care.

Do I? I support whoever hikes the ball for LSU, no matter what. I don't need to know why they are the guy in there, or what's behind the coaches decision on any player. I show up to cheer and have a good time. I do that whether we win or lose. It's just good to be back on campus and party with friends.

It is amazing to me that you live in Houston and haven't heard of a superstar in the making by the name of Russell Sheppard who happens to be enrolling in my alma mater very soon.

He also happens to be rated the top ranked dual threat QB in th US of A.

FWIW, I'm expecting Lee to have a big bounce-back game this Saturday

I think this is the 9000th repost of this same question.

By the way, Lee is the future... just to let you know.

How did you do that time travel thing? I mean, the rest of us are here in Tuesday and you're all the way back in Sunday afternoon.

If Lee is the better passer, I think next season will start out alot like OSU. By the end of the year, Shep will be running this thing.

Nice first post!

He would do great in getting extended playing time against a Saban defense.

Talk about setting him up for failure. I will say it again if JJ has to play more than a few plays LSU gets blown out!

No he won't. I think everyone who is expecting Shep under center next year needs to take a step back and breathe. He'll be under center soon enough, but you can't expect too much during his freshman year.

That should have happened against tulane. Hopefully he comes out gunning. If he throws multiple ints or another pick 6 then they should make a change to evaluate both quarterbacks in real game time situations to have an idea of what direction we are heading for the spring. Would hate to have a qb situation similar to auburn, arkansas, vanderbilt or south carolina

All I know is this.. Saban will be blitzing every chance that he can at LEE. I hope the OL protects him.. If not, Lee will most likely be taken out the game due to injury and we will see JJ at QB. I strongly believe that we must come out on the 1st series and throw deep on all 3 downs to throw off Alabama's defense.

you're right it should, but i gotta believe shtts about to click for this guy, run the ball the entire first series set up play action and let him dump a few to Dickson, get his confidence going. I also think the team needs to see some emotion from their starting QB; I'd like to see him come out Saturday all fired up

He carries himself smartly on the field. He just looks like he doubts himself, unlike tebow who was jumping and flying around like a f*&(ing retard everytime he made a play.

Ready - Your right Lee needs to be more emotional and fire-up the offense in the huddle and sideline.

The one think I like about RS coming next year is his motivation and leadership.. He's a leader. Leadership will win football games!
