You've got to be kidding me? Are you that ignorant to think that this is game film eval when you mention Kellen Moore in the next sentence. Kellen Moore - a TOP 3 performer at QB for three quarters of the year and at least top 10 all year. Really? Take off the blinders. The LSU program is fortunate to be putting this guy in its rear view mirror.

Any chance you edit your title?

quote:
Short throw accuracy, decision making, and pocket awareness were listed as weaknesses.
What would that be based on, since he did not participate in any throwing drills at the Combine? Plans to throw at LSU Pro Day.

The actual performance results for JJ from the NFL Combine Results site:
For the 6 events he did participate in for his QB position:
He had the 3rd fastest time (out of 14) in the 40 yd dash. (was behind RG3 & Russell Wilson)
In the 3 Cone Drill, he was 4th (out of 13) with a time of 6.81 (Andrew Luck was 6.80)
In the 20 yd. Shuttle, he was 1st (out of 13) with a time of 4.06 which tied the best in that event set in 2009 by R. Bomar. (Luck had a 4.28)
In the Verticle Jump, he was 3rd (out of 15) with 36.5.
In the Broad Jump, he was 5th (out of 15) with a jump of 9'8" (Luck was best with 10'4", RG3 was 3rd with 10'0".)
He and Darron Thomas of Oreg. were the only QBs (out of 18) to attempt the Bench Press and they both did 14 Reps.
Don't know if the Wonderlic entered into his overall score, but his actual performance in the events he did enter was very good. He was listed as a "Top Performer" in 3 events and was 5th or better in all. He did not participate in any Throwing Drills since he is doing that at LSU Pro Dy.
That 44 score and the Analysis has a lot of subjective matter involved and does not reflect the actual performance at the Combine.
