Are you a fricking moron? I have posted that the defense sucked on Saturday. I talked about Jefferson in this thread because the fricking idiot who STARTED the thread made it about Jefferson.
Yes, I think the whole mother fricking team needs an overhaul, and I wouldn't keep a single coach or player associated with the program. Jefferson is just another incompetent, sub-par performer doing his job in an incompetent, sub-par way. I've never implied, and have often explicitly denied, that he is the only problem.
He will never be a good quarterback. Anybody who claims to think otherwise is in denial.

I don't blame jj, it is crowton and the other coaches to put him in a system to succeed. Play to his strenghts, not his weaknesses. I understand the o line is shitty, then roll him out and cut the field in half. If the play isn't there, then run.

JJ is an average quarterback that will NEVER take us to a championship. He has no feel for the clock, the situation (can't take a sack), pocket presence (leads to the horrible sack numbers). He can't pick up a second receiver. He does have talent, but not the necessary ingredients to be a championship quarterback. His lack of ability has exacerbated some poor offensive play calling, because the coaches seem to have no confidence in him.
This is true this yr,but I think he will get better. It's obvious this year that he is confused quite often.

They didn't load the box last yrs. What games have JJ won for LSU this yr.Has JJ been crucified by people like you as Lee was? JJ has not been good this yr. Scott's best runs came with Lee at QB in Bama game. I'm not saying start lee though,I'm just saying JJ has killed Tiger offense this year.He can't read defenses or progressions,and constantly misses open receivers.

So what i've gotten out of this thread is that JJ has definitely improved from the start of the season but he did all by himself...no coaching at all. Brilliant.

Always play the race card when you have nothing else. Truth is Jefferson sux, period. He was supposed to give lsu a mobility edge but he is the worst qb i have seen at running the option. He stares down his receivers every pass play. He has no poise in the pocket.He sure in the hell wont play qb in the nfl. Has he ever broke the 300 yd. mark in passing yet? He sux!!!!!!!!!

LSU won two national championships this decade and the quarterbacks we have now couldn't start for one other SEC team. Period. No excuse for failure to plan for the future. Think any of these QB's could play for any other SEC team? You're fooling yourself if you think so. I am sick of the pld excuses.. poor recruiting, poor preparation, poor vision.. that's not fiction, that's the truth, and now it's finally caught up with them. Les will dig his own grave and this is a huge factor. I personally am besides myself at the inability of LSU to sign a top notch quarterback. Thats nowhere near what we have currently.

You should do some research before you run your mouth. Have you ever watched him play in highschool? Please pull up a highlight video from high school and show me a designed run by JJ. He led the state in passing yards his senior season for christs sake but he was just an athlete right? God some of you people have no idea what you are talking about.

Has he reached HIS level of incompetency ?
I had heard good things about him, but his abilities have certainly not manifested themselves yet at this level.
