Maybe he wants to be playing for LSU again next year. The slump he's in isn't going to attract too many MLB clubs. Hell, they walked a freshman the other night just to pitch to Jones. That had to embarrass the hell out of him. He definitely needs to be dropped further down in the order....at least until he's out of his slump.

As long as the pitcher doesn’t throw anything with any kind of movement or break on it, Jones will be fine. Dude can hammer some little league style flat fastballs.
