The mistake he made was he only let guys pitch nervous. No one settled in. Guys worst abs will be their first couple until the nerves settle. He pulled Hilliard and Gervase when they were settled

Nature of the beast in being a bullpen guy is you don’t have the luxury of settling in. You need to be ready to go from pitch one.
