Fine, then why don’t you discuss jumping off the current coach’s bandwagon before conference play even started in his first season. Or discuss how you said he would be exposed once conference play did begin and that he was all talk and no substance. Or you could discuss how he wasn’t a “real hire”....

well that's just dead wrong. DiNardo actually turned us around (quickly) from the Hallman disaster.

DiNardo immediately went 7-4-1, with a bowl win. Then went 10-2, 9-3 with two more bowl wins.

But then it turned down for the next couple years. Hiring (and not firing) Lou Tepper as DC was a big part of the downturn.

Jones or Press Maravich, who basically relied solely on Pete to get anywhere during his tenure at LSU despite his success with NC State and reputation as a team-oriented HC but a lot of options for worst LSU coach fasho
