the 07/08 team was hurt by injuries but you could just sense that brady didnt have that fire anymore, that team basically quit defensively and thats usually the sign that the coach has lost the team.

He got frustrated with the administration for not building the practice facility as promised and he made some untoward comments about football getting anything they wanted, Then a losing streak caused to some estent by injuries was the final straw.

I agree that his coaching job against UCLA in the Final Four was abysmal.

He seemed to have no intensity for that game, didn't call time outs when he should. Almost like he was content being there and not all that fired up about going all the way.

Didn't he bring in his old coach to sit with him for that Final Four, so they could enjoy the experience together? Nice that he thought of his old coach, but it seemed a little strange to me. He should have been about completing the job.

Brady sucked. He was gifted insane LA talent who were also familiar with each other.

Isn't that true of most successful coaches who do not coach at schools with national pull.

[quote]Hell, Trent Johnson took basically the same LSU team Brady had in his final year to the tournament. [/quote

bullshite, Tasmin Mitchell didn't play at all, chris Johnson was out half the season. If Tasmin wouldn't have gotten hurt, Brady never gets fired that year. We would have never heard of Trent if those guys stay healthy. For the record has a SEC ring from that team that TJ sent him. He won with Brady's HEALTHY players

Not really. The Prince had the game of his life for UCLA and that was the difference.

How much did you watch Brady during the game to draw tis conclusion? Were you at the game? He has always drawn the ire of fans for his stormy demeanor on the bench. Now you criticize him for being too placid?

Sometimes the other team just plays better and the mental aspect sets in and it snowballs.
