Thanks for the links. So happy for Joe. He’s such a team guy that he is probably a little uncomfortable with all this individual attention. But man does he deserve it!!!

That's a badass LSU letter jacket he's wearing in that one pic. I think it's the one with the block "L" on it. Those are so fricking tight.

Wow. His parents have to just be in shock at what Joe has accomplished so far this season and how he has just shot up the draft boards and is winning all of these awards. It has been a wild ride that's for sure. He want that natty BAD too, you can tell it. He wants to kick Ohio states arse in Nola I'm pretty damn sure of it. Lol what a story. So glad for Joe and his family. Class acts, all of them.

I watched Johnny Unitas play as well. That dude could chuck a ball downfield. He was old school kind of tough. I'll never forget him.

Indy would be the perfect place for him. They have a good front office and completely committed to the QB being the center of the team before Andrew Luck retired. They loaded up on offensive linemen to protect him.
Unfortunately, he will be in Cincinnati.
GEAUX TIGERS!

he got to meet and greet a dead guy?
Happens every 4 years in Chicago at the Voting Booth and in some areas of New Orleans where the dead come out to vote.

I was a kid when Johnny U was in the twilight of his career.
Just like Joe, to say that he was a tough SOB is an understatement.
So proud of our quarterback and the way he has handled all of the accolades.
Oh yea, mom looking good too...

Forgot he died or just looked up when he died?

Damn. It sure is fun watching good things happen to good people.
This is profound and oh so true! Imagine if everyone in the world felt this way! What a glorious world this would be!!

My Rant name clearly identifies that I was a huge Johnny Unitas fan. He was my childhood idol. Unitas made the 2 minute drill a "thing" when he lead his trailing team in the waning moments of the "Greatest Game Ever Played".
He called his own plays and was tough as nails, once throwing a winning TD with blood streaming down his face. He was smart, accurate and tough. Joe has all of those qualities.
For years, Unitas was the standard by which others were judged. I now think that applies to Joe Burrow at the college level.
I could not agree more!
