this guy can't cost that much $$$. He scored 31 on Bama. So, that means he is innovative, right. With our superior talent compared to Ark and with Joe Craddock at the helm that Bama game would have been a lock. I say get a new HC (any one TD chooses), hire Joe Craddock as OC, start pulling all those Louisiana - bama commits back to their home state... we win a Natty by 2021! Why haven't Alleva and TD thought of this before !!!

Isn't the Arkansas offense all Chad Morris. Or did he bring his OC with him from SMU?

Off the top of my head, Okie State has had the same OC since 2013.

Guaranteed he'd come in and get the passing game going.

IDGAF. Get Spurrier for all I care. Just find a way to throw the damned ball already.

We have to have a conversation with Briles. This cheap shite with Ensminger has to show Alleva he has to stop fricking around. Go get an innovative guy and lets see what happens. They tried to make Ensminger design an offense he's never played in or coached his life. Who the frick does that?

He is a BETTER choice.

But he's probably not the best we could do I think.

You were trying to be funny, but:

quote:

After the 2011 season, he was hired as an offensive player development coach by Dabo Swinney at Clemson University.[2] Upon the conclusion of the 2012 football season, he was given on-field graduate assistant duties working with the quarterbacks, a role he held until December 2014. During these three seasons, he grew extremely close with Chad Morris.

In December 2014, Morris accepted the head coaching position at Southern Methodist University. Immediately after he was hired, Morris named Craddock as his offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach.[3][4] At the time of the hiring, Craddock was 29 years old and the youngest offensive coordinator in college football.[5][6]

In December of 2017 Craddock was brought on with Chad Morris to be the new offensive coordinator of the Razorbacks in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Craddock is a 2017 Broyles Award nominee.

Craddock is the youngest offensive coordinator in the SEC

If he can get Storey to throw for 25/39 and 230yds and 2 TDs vs Bama maybe he's actually a good OC.

He would actually be a decent hire. I would be content to see what he could do here. I would like better and think we should pursue better. But we could do worse.

We are right now.

OK state is 5-4 in the big 12. Offensive production in the big 12 is not necessarily impressive.

Sometimes, I wish he wasn't our OC.

Craddock isn’t legit without Morris.

ok... I'm serious this time (don't claim to be a statistician or coaching encyclopedia) - if dude is cheap and has that great potential I'd consider him a reasonable hire. Bring the suggestion to Joe.

Well gee I'm not getting paid millions to make that those calls. Do you think Bama uses analytics? You opened the door on this one. Craddock took over OC at SMU when they were averaging 11.1 points per game in 2014. First season 2015 they jumped to 27.8, 2016 was 27.7 and finally 2017 was 37.8. Arkansas is a total revamp from the Big 10 Wisconsin offense of Bilema so it will take time, but he's already showing good results.

i'm serious. I don't claim to know much about these kind of decisions. If it would be a big step up and for a reasonable price let's do it.

I went to college with Joe. Great American. Can't believe he is an OC in the SEC already.
