Will there be one? I can’t stop watching his highlights and have gotten teary eyed several times in doing so. Truly magical season that we may never see replicated in our lifetime!

Seriously what’s with the down votes? Is it because he IS getting a statue? And I should have known?

The only question is will it be when he had his pants pulled down or do we mechanize it to do the Texas wave

I don’t care about bama. Burrow deserves a statue in my opinion. Not for winning a title but for being one of if not he best QB in NCAA history.

Personally I loved it when Joe double thumbed the back of his jersey which spelled “Burreaux”! That to me would be an amazing statue!!!

To me statues should wait 20-30 years to go up. Definitely think Joe should get one, but not anytime soon. Maybe in 2040 when he retires from the NFL & it's the 20 year anniversary of th Natl. Championship/Heisman.

I agree but what Burrow did has never been done before. Saban deserved one for what he brought to Bama. He’s still there. I believe Burrow deserves all the accolades.

It needs to be a statue based on the cover of the sports illustrated they came out with after the National Championship. He’s running and has the ball tucked and he’s pointing out a block with his left hand.

Yeah, the moment I saw that I thought that would be an awesome statue pose. And there's a story behind it. It's not just a generic "QB throwing the ball" pose.

I think a cool action based statue would be 3rd and 17. Probably hard as hell to do but done right it would be awesome.

Probably because there were 2000000000 posts about this after the NC game for a few months.

We also now have a precedent of building a statue of Heisman winners.
