It is delicious when made correctly. Maybe he's worried about getting a bad oyster before a huge game. It happens.

Only raw oysters can be “bad” oysters
But I love pretty much all Cajun and creole food but have never been served oyster dressing that I liked- always figured the person cooking it didn’t know what they were doing
