an offense install that was well under way.

Yall rally gonna say this with a straight face? How much max protect two man routes did we run for the majority of 2018? ...even in games where we had clear talent advantages.

I mean, did we already forget about the Bama game? and many others from this year? Or are we only blaming those on Linehan?

I think you may be underestimating how bad the entire roster is.

A top notch coordinator can take a bad or depleted roster and come up with an offense that can succeed. Just ask Florida.

So bad that the Saints won every game with him last year when Brees was out

Just FYI, the Carolina panthers have now lost 7 of their last 8 games with Brady as OC. Also, Bridgewater has not progressed under him. Makes me wonder who really was the passing game coordinator.

Oh, is denigrating Brady going to be the new thing now?

Very similar to Taysom this year. With great defense.

TJ is a sitting duck just like Brennan. Neither have an ability to avoid the pressure and keep the play alive. Great that a QB can just sit in the pocket and throw the ball 80 yards downfield but it takes a big time OL to work and you still need touch on the ball to have a short passing game.

Panthers are 19th/32 in YPG and PPG...without Christian McCaffrey and a top 5 worst OL and WR group in the league. They are 6th best in offensive giveaways as well, so they're decent at scoring points and very good at protecting the ball.

So you think that 19th out of 32 is “decent” it’s literally below the league average. That’s not decent.

TJ and Brennan cannot run the zone read or RPO. So half or more of the 2019 offense is/was off the table. The freshman have a tough time with the presnap reads and blitz reads. Protection calls. Etc. Nothing new. Max probably has a leg up because of his family knowledge.

I don’t really know why that is so hard to understand. Maybe Max was not ready earlier. Who knows.

I follow the panthers closely and I will tell you that Brady has actually done a great job imo. They score points regularly and lose close because of their defense. Also their best player has been injured all year——CMAC

Did you ignore the context of the weapons they're missing?

19th is very close to the middle. Statistically they are damn close to 16th and not close at all to 32nd. Yes I call that decent.

I think in a league of 32 teams that, usually, top 5 is great, top 10 is good, 12-20 is decent, etc.

Yeah they’re missing 1-2 weapons. They’re still 19th, not good. Brady loses weapons and he gets a pass. Ensminger loses way more weapons and he suddenly sucks. Funny how that works.

I have CMAC and mike davis on my fantasy team that’s the only reason. Screw the panthers lol

Think they'd be there is they had CMC? Not sure if you follow NFL, but he's kinda good

I'm not following the point you're trying to make here. We know what E looks like without Brady at LSU. LSU also isn't playing in the NFL. It's just really weird to try to detract from what Brady did here because he's not setting the NFL on fire missing his biggest weapon.

Brady functioning at that level is proof that he’s an elite mind. While most knew that, there was always a plausible question about how much he needed an Ensminger. We now know that he didn’t.

This is big boy NFL coordinating. He’s not playing with a full deck. And his teams are usually the less talented on the field.

Everything is relative. Is he ready to be an NFL head coach? Hell no. Can we safely assume that he was the offensive mind behind the success last year. Yes. Without a doubt.
