Brady, who came over from the New Orleans Saints, says not only will it be a spread offense, but also a 'spread-it-around' offense. On top of being the Passing Game Coordinator, Brady also coaches the wide receivers.
Mickey Joseph on his way out?

Sullivan as a TE... I like that

Great in theory but can he block well enough to be treated like a WR by the defense? And get those LB mismatches?

I really, really like this cat already. He's obviously very cerebral and meticulous in his approach. He's only been with us a very short while but already commands a great wealth of knowledge about his offensive players as a whole and individuals. That's very impressive.
Love his comment about Burrow, "I want to run through a wall for Joe Burrow", and compares Burrow's attitude and his affect on his teammates to that of Drew Brees. That's some monster praise.
Brady says he doesn't like the lights and cameras, that's 'not his thing', but he's a natural. He exudes confidence and knowledge and you can tell he's an immensely sharp X's and O's guy. Watching his eyes, you can really see the excitement and passion that he has for this opportunity and I can't wait to see how this all plays out in the fall.
I would love to see this combination of Ensminger/Brady be the spark that finally scores more points on the Red Elephants than they score on us. And my confidence is growing. For the last 4 years I expected LSU to lose that particular November game. I was pretty forthcoming about that and got downvoted alot because of it. But that changed this year. After the bowl win, recruiting cycle and hiring of Brady, I said way back in January that this is the year we throw that monkey off our back.
I stand by that, now. We may only win 10 games this year but we beat the gumps in a nail biter and we kick the dogshit out of aTm in TS after that robbery last year. I feel very good going forward.

Good interview. I don't know how a person can come away from that and not be confident. Joe Brady is going to do good things at LSU. I'm excited.

Joe Brady video interview
Sean Payton has been running his offense for over a decade now. It has been one of the most prolific and dynamic offenses in the history of the NFL. This is the first time I've heard of anyone utilizing his offense in the college ranks. In the '90's, Steve Spurrier and his Fla. Gators showcased an almost unstoppable offense. They chewed up grass like a herd of starving cows. It was video game football. Occasionally a defense came along that gave them problems, but not often and not many. will this be something similar? IDK, but we will see.

He looks good in this interview- we’ll see how it all works out soon enough.
