Yeah, an for a smaller note of great assistants, LSU gymnastics hired Jay Clark. A couple of years ago he was ranked 11th best recruiter in ALL of collegiate athletics. it's why we have the #1 class for 2015

Nothing against him but I think LSU could do a lot better
Let's hope if he goes, LSU doesn't do a lot worse.

That's the main point rational fans are trying to make. Some of our fanbase lives in this fantasy world where ticket prices don't go up, and USC is blowing up our phone to play us in Death Valley. If you can get around some of the general, delusional complaints our fans have, he's done a great job.

is he the best? probably not, but holy cow we can do a lot worse.

I'm scared fans want Dan Radakovich as the first call. That guy left Georgia Tech in shambles. Not saying he couldn't succeed as a tiger, but his body of work sucks. But he's "an LSU guy"

For some reason some LSU fans feel we need an LSU guy as AD and somehow all our problems will be solved. They don't want an outsider, they want someone from the good ole boy network. That said, Joe hired an LSU guy in Johnny Jones as our basketball ball coach and some idiots on thr Rant are already saying it was a bad hire.
