Upgraded facilities of non revenue sports to where they can compete at a national level. The department has more money than it ever has and is one of the only schools in the country to give money back to the university. I know the money would have came in no matter who the AD is but balancing the budget is a huge part of his job and he does it well enough to have a surplus to give to the university. If that was easy then more schools in the sec would do it besides LSU.

You said it.

If you would have given credit to Alleva for hiring Chris Blair as the Voice of the Tigers, I would have given Joe credit for that. It looks like Chris is going to be one hell of a hire.

Most of the facility upgrades were due to title IX because of the stadium expansion. But we still have one the worst swimming and diving facilities. And our indoor track facility has been outdated for almost 20 years because we don't have a banked track.

IMO (which a lot of people will probably disagree with me) the biggest mistake Alleva has had a major part in is the addition on to Tiger Stadium. In a day and age where attendance is dropping across all of college football, it was a short sighted money grab. Yes we will make money due to the additional revenue of suites. However, we have 20k to 30k no shows at most games. This is the trend across college football. Google "college football attendance" and you will see that attendance has dropped for 5 straight years. But we now have a stadium that is too big and our fanbase only fills up once or twice a year.

Also Frank Broyles at Arkansas revolutionized the job of AD in the SEC. Frank spearheaded a fundraising campaign like th SEC had never seen before. Since then, one of the major duties of the athletic director has been to be a fundraiser. This the main reason why Skip Bertman was hired. Do you think people are lining up to donate to LSU because of Ol' Joe? I know I'm not.

He may be up to something. Did you see him stalking the Northern Iowa coach during his interview after the game? He was either trying to talk to him or getting some face time on TV. Heck he was even straightening chairs during the interview.

If he gets an A it will be for Absent. Where in the hell has he been. What in the hell has he done. As long as the athletic dept. is making money - and it is making money hand over fist which it can do on cruise control - his bosses will be satisfied.

To me all three coaches should be gone. Only one I may get an argument on is maneri, but again we have won ONE GAME in cws since 2010. If u claim to be one of the best, then that is unacceptable. Open the checkbook for o Connor at Virginia.
