Unless LSU absolutely has to, I doubt you will see over 20-22 passes a game from here on out.

nah. Les has a want to run the ball. Jarrett Lee certainly enjoys the opportunity to compete. But he is aware that the circumstances leading to victory originate with the ability to run the football.

You don't consider hanging around for 5 years doing all the in and out of season work, doing the class work, putting up with the bull shite that backward Tiger "fans" heap on the players earning anything? I think you would have folded your temt after a lot less than Lee did and put up with. I don't think you would have made it a week.

Sarcasm meter broke? I prefer Lee over JJ. Check my post history, I just am in a shite mood tonight, I Know, CSB

Sure...it earns my respect...and I mean that sincerely.. It clearly did not earn him the starting spot prior to the start of the 2011 season without the incident at the bar, though.

No, he won't. I really like the kid and want him to do well, but he's just an average QB.

Futbol is probably better for folks such as yourself. While Lee may forever be an avg. QB, it doesn't mean he can't have a productive game once in a while.

How many times do I have to tell you? Insulting someone just because you disagree with their opinion only makes you look foolish

You mean the fanbase who was happy to see Jefferson get charged with something.

He did earn it by being prepared. It put him in a position to claim the spot. Absent the work and patience and fortitude he exhibited the situation would be grim.

Which is pretty much what got LSU two wins so far. I can see the better (win) I just can't see the worse(?)

Yep. That low percentage of fans with the lowest IQ's.

You took a comment about futbol as an insult? Seems you are a bit self conscious. You should be proud of your "alternative" sport. You certainly are proving to be a "glass half empty" guy.

Not tonight...it's too late to argue semantics on the interwebs.

I like the kid...I always have, especially when he was thrown under the bus by Miles and Crowton in 2008 and essentially forced to fail by what those nimrods asked of him at the time. Despite how we played, if there's any LSU fan the doesn't have a soft spot for the kid after going through all that then they ought to pick a new program for which to root.

That being said, LSU's starting QB was Jefferson barring the incident at the bar...period. Some clearly did not like that, but it doesn't change the fact that it's the truth. So in the traditional sense, what you suggested earned him the spot did not. It put him in the #2 position and it allowed him to slide up to #1 when the starter was suspended. But again...semantics.

You really have some self esteem issues if you are taking it as an insult.

I don't think there was a chance in hell as long as JJ was here that Lee could have won the starting job.
