It's probably just experience but he looked sharper than the other QBs.

He has been playing QB for quite some time and at LSU they do workout so yeah theirs nothing to do but get in shape....I dont think their is any chance that Jlee is not 3rd string......JJ has looked good in practice for years.....I want someone that looks good in Games consistently.

With that said how messed up would it be if Jlee ended up being a starter in the NFL in 3-5 years.

I do think Jlee's mental toughness and his in the game thought is better than JJ's.

Jlee made some huge plays for us this past year that could have developed into another loss or 2.

FL was definatly clutch by him with the 4th and I think 12 to get the first down.....a bad pass and we lose to FL....then obviously the fade to win the game.

Bama when it was like 4 mins left we were backed up at the 20 and his presence in the pocket to step up and make that pass to randle on the sidelines was money..

I just dont trust JJ on 4th down to pass...to run yeah sure..

Yeah no one can disagree that he is a true tiger. 95% of kids would have left in his position in 08

I think he is referring to Mett as the starter then JJ, and if goes down to our 3rd string things are obviously wrong.

Is it just me or did our LB's look tiny. We need to get some meat on those guys.

I agree JLee is not an SEC QB, but he won 2 games for us last year. I have so much respect for this kid. He is not a quitter or a baby. He is a competitor. Whatever he decides to do with his life this experience will have served him well. JL got a free ride to play football at one of the top schools in the country for football and in the top conference. He also won football games in clutch situations. How many people around here can say they did that? I am glad he stayed. JL is a tough kid.

yeah I noticed that too. biggest (smallest) culprit was Tahj Jones, who some have said isn't even 200 lbs. he might be the Chris Johnson of the football team.

He looked sharp.

Definitely slimmed down, his footwork was a lot better. Threw the ball with confidence as well.

Now if we could just translate that into game play we'd be great.

the second half at Auburn in '08 was awesome, regardless of how bad Auburn turned out.

I had a nervous breakdown in 2008 when JLee threw all those interceptions in the Ga., Fl. and ala. games = losses.
That being said in 2010, LSU does not beat ala. without Lee coming in for the injured JJefferson and throwing that big long 3rd down completion to knock the clock down and ala. out, absolutely fantastic.
I forgot about the Tennessee game with Lee driving the team down the field for JJ to come in at the goal line to complete pass or run in TD.
Then JLee drives down the field against Florida passing for winning TD with 6 seconds to go. Fabulous! Well done Jared Lee 2010.
