why don't you factor in the 6 or 7 drops in the game, and the fact we played the #3 team in the country

I'm happy with the win. The point is Lee isn't the next coming of Brett Farve and I was tired of seeing how much of a plus he is than JJ when in reality. They are pretty much the same qb. Mediocre and average at best. LSU can win that type of qb. So if Lee can get praised after being the weakpoint of a potent offensive attack then other players should get the same recognition.

After last night, I think I might want Jordan Jefferson back. SEC defenses are going to eat us alive with Lee throwing off of his back foot on just about every pass play.

Lee should be the one frustrated by the receivers. They sure didn't help his statistics by any means.

Well, Northwestern State should be Lee's coming out party. We will need his passing in SEC play.

So the ones who are ardently defending lee, is it safe to say they also defended JJ when fans picked apart his game during wins??

Well, at least he is consistent!!!! Honestly, if his numbers don't improve against Northwestern, The Miss. State game is gonna be very interesting being he still looks at one receiver and if the play is not there, his attempt at scrambling makes Peyton Manning look like Vick. I can take games like this as long as he doesn't throw ints. Should be frustrating for the receivers though.

And your point?

Look, the numbers weren't great but Oregon has very good DB's and, yes, they ARE better than Moo U's secondary.

You think it would be better with JJ?

Cut Lee some slack and wait longer than one week before you toss him under the bus.

The criticism of Lee is no different than the criticism of JJ with one exception: JJ's criticism became heated after several games. This was Lee's first start in 3 years. The criticism is fair, but I would think most Tiger fans would cut him some slack. The ones being uber-critical are partisans who spent the summer defending JJ from similar criticism and now want to mete out similar verbal assaults on Lee. They are not very good Tiger fans.

mike don't be a damn dumbass. They were all over JJ after the Washington game when he had 170+ yards and 3tds(passing) with about 70% completion percentage, IN HIS THIRD COLLEGIATE START. Go and read the game thread.

That UO secondary wasn't even close to what it was last year.

Nobody wanted to add in the extra 70+ yards and 2tds JJ would have had in the spring game if Randle caught that TD pass that hit him in the hands and Shep caught that long pass that he dropped. Lee had about three drops TOTAL, that should have been caught which would have netted him about 40-50 more yards but there can't be a double standard here. He did what was necessary and that was perfectly fine Saturday.

He was much improved as far as his progessions.....many analysts saw it as well. And, his recievers dropped way too many passes.

For you to pull a LaTech comparison out of your arse to make claim that he has not improved is fricked stupid if not retarded.

We have some of the stupidest fans. That includes ready4something. How fans can put Lee in this small box and never factor in all of the details I'll never understand. Its like you didn't watch the game or read any article. Just looked at his stat line and started a thread. You might should just read the rant for a while.

These stats are one game how many games has JJ had just like this. I really do feel sorry for you miserable fans. It's Monday we won and I am excited.
