May be for MSB but anyone know how these players are chosen? JL is 1 of 2 Louisiana players (1 from ULM) that I see on the roster .. maybe I'm overlooking someone. Didn't see one Bama player listed. Is this for those under the radar players?

One of the Coaches is Houston Nutt.

Glad JL is there and hope he does great.

So do I.

Apparently the news article in the stickied thread said there were scouts from every NFL team there today at the first day of practice.

Here's to hoping he hooks on with somebody!

it's the Casino del Sol College All-Star Game. this is the only second year of if, so that's why I've never heard of it and why JL appeared on a Tucson radio station yesterday.

the Senior Bowl is the most prestigious college all star game.

If he plays well it will make me sick. I can take it though, and hope he plays well.

If he plays well, it will look extremely bad for Les Miles.

Much more than it does currently.

La Tech has a kid on the other team...unless the roster is wrong, Ohio University has a kid on each team

Like 2 years ago when Trindon Holiday lit it up on an all star game only much, much worse.

Not as prestigious, but playing in a college all-star game is awesome. He should get 30 or so snaps, launch 15-18 balls and have a blast. He will meet players from all over, get an X-Box, clothes, etc and really go out in style. They won't be able to blitz him, so it will be less stress. Scouts from the NFL and CFL will be there...a great deal.

L-O-L...unless he is playing against the BAMA defense in the game why would it look bad? Playing against defenders from Ohio U and LaTech...
