Why are you so invested in constantly defending a guy that is a mediocre at best player that jj is?
I have no intentions or "want" to bash the guy.
Fact is he's not a good qb.
Good athlete? Absolutely.
But he isn't a good qb and never will be regardless how many posts you type about it.
let's all hope he is good enough next Monday and after that it will all be over.

I'm far from invested. HE IS THE STARTING QB FOR THE TEAM, YOU AND I, PULL FOR. I would be doing the same thing if poster were running down Lee. Neither qb deserves to be called shite. Both have done more for LSU football than any of the posters in this thread.

JJ has had the privilege of playing on a team with a good offensive line great running backs and receivers, He is and has been the weakest link. The entire nation knows that. That is all the preseason publications talked about. JL surprised the nation with his play and gained LSU respect from everyone. JJ got shoved down our collective throats by Miles. Some of us didn't like it. We preferred the offense when JL was in. Get over it. JJ is a poor QB at best.

Oh ,so JJ has played on a good team? Well frick him then. Guess what. Every team that has every won anything meaningful had good players around them. Have you ever played collegiate athletics? Damn it's common knowledge that no qb ( except the best qb's on earth) can win by themselves. Damn the way you talk about JJ, it's like he is a starter for Bama and has beat LSU the the last 2 times. He plays for the team you cheer for.

If you think LSU had a good oline or great rb production in 09 then you clearly didn't watch the games. We ran for less than 50 yard a bunch and only hit 170 rushing , as a team, twice.

I pull for JJ and the Tigers when they play. I have been a Tiger fan longer than you have lived. It doesn't make JJ a great QB and people who start threads trying to make him something that he isn't is only inviting argument. Comparing him to Tebow and stupid stuff like that.

When has anyone compared JJ to Tebow? I'll be the first to tell them to lay off the weed! But you run JJ down every chance you get. I admit he sucks in games, but everytime I see you in a qb thread it's nothing positive. Even when JJ has an avg game.

See you and BT see me as being invested in defending JJ when it's got nothing to do with JJ as a person. He is the starting qb for OUR undefeated SEC champs. Did other Players have a huge part in getting us to that accomplishment? OF COURSE. It's a team game. JJ isnt even a top ten reason we are undefeated. But he has done a lot for LSU football. Everytime any of LSU players steps on the field I commend them just for that. If you played collegiate athletics and were apart of an accomplished team you would too. Now I don't know if you have but your statements about one of OUR players, makes me think you haven't!

Let's hope that he does it again and he can go out a winner with the rest of the team. It doesn't matter who any of us would like to see start. Miles will start who he wants. So it is a mute point.

Yes but you never ever post anything positive. EVER. Every JJ thread you are running him down. I could understand if it's personal, but I don't think you actually know JJ as a person and think He is a dick. So what he doesn't play to YOUR expectations. Damn give dude a break once in a while.
