Just a general statement. If it doesn't fit you, don't worry about it.

a big ovation would be a negative for him.

So let me get this straight, because JJ PUT HIMSELF in this situation by getting involved with a fight, THE FANS should show him support because he WENT THROUGH A LOT?
Yeah, he's been through alot.

Ever think about just not getting involved with a dumbass fight when you are the starting QB of a top-5 program?

You have alluded to it several times in the past of threads I've read that you've written.

To me its about people hating JJ and not knowing about Wing. But they take a moral stance that what JJ did was so wrong and when it comes out that Wing has been accused of the same thing there is no uproar. Which is pretty much the definition of being a hypocrite.
Again, the Wing situation and the Jefferson situation are night and day if you look at the big picture. Of course, if you want to break down and pinpoint and define exactly what it is that each one did, then yeah, you're right. But what you're not getting is what made the Jefferson thing so bad was that right or wrong, guilty or innocent, he got himself involved in all this mess a week before Oregon preparation. He was going to be our starter. Period. Take out all the BRPD fiasco and just look at that one fact alone.
Question: When did Brad Wing get in trouble and when did Jefferson get in trouble (dates)?

I suppose the next time someone gets out from a 30-year jail sentence for murdering several people, we should show them support because of all they went through in jail.

I will give JJ a huge ovation----when he is gone and graduated. I think many in Tiger Nation have their blinders on--JJ is not a great QB. Les has the chance to really screw up a good thing by insisting that JJ play. And play he will as soon as Les can.

I will stand up and support JJ just as I do all LSU athletes

Pretty much. One of many. I hope these people show the same support for Johns. I doubt it.

Me saying some people want JL over JJ because they are racist is a true statement. fricking deal with it. With your name you should be able to face reality. I did not mention it in this thread and have only mentioned it once when it was apparent by some peoples post.

ANYTIME you go to a campus bar a fight can happen. Yall act like fights never happen and people never make mistakes.
And yes they are apples to oranges. One apparently attacked someone while sleeping in a private residence while another got caught up in a group of people fighting. Which would you have a bigger problem with?
ETA: 2 months before JJ I do not know the dates or specifics. I really don't care although using it as an example of how some of our fans pick and choose when to take the moral high road ie. be hypocrites.

The fact of the matter is, he fricked up as the starting QB for a national powerhouse. Why should anyone fell sorry or remorse.......

See?

So what you're saying is that if a person of race does not get what he/she wants in this world or that something is taken away, regardless of the situation, the "reality" of looking at it is to always blame it on racism?
Yeah you're right, my reality is not that at all. You see, in my world, people screw up because they're human and sometimes they pay the consequences for it. And the greater their position and the more that is expected of them, the greater the consequences.

Lee should get a big ovation when they announce him as the starter in the starting lineups before kickoff. The guy has been through a lot. Most would agree that he is a good guy. He is LSU through and through and deserves a big cheer.
Well stated sir...

Have I said to feel sorry for him? Never have I ever once said I feel sorry for him for f'n up and getting into a fight.
I will say I do feel sorry for him that our fanbase is so fricked up in the head that they won't support him.(he still hasn't been found guilty).
When JL got hurt people cheered. I guess that is ok to do also? since if a player is sucking on the field he doesn't deserve to be supported b/c its all about winning.

Are you actually equating a player getting injured with a player being arrested? Are you really?
Some of you frickers have let your player fanhood seriously affect your mental functions.
