still, JR was good and was an absolute playmaker, JJ isn't... yet.

He never said he managed it well, he just said he was a game manager. Taking sacks is exactly what a game manager does. They take sacks instead of making a huge mistake by throwing a pick.

Oh so you're a body language expert now. Comparing the two is a huge insult to Russell and if you don't think JR improved every year you are blind.

He was a big reason we won 11 games that year, not why we lost 2.

Just 1 in Florida! Cost us a shot at a NC I believe.

Jamarcus takes a sack with no timeouts against Auburn in '06 with the clock running down when all he has to do is throw it in the stands. Why are we trying to establish a running game in the same game with world class recievers?

Answer: He cannot grasp the offense. It was well known that Flynn was way ahead in knowledge of LSU's scheme.

a bad OL

and game managers have their games scripted for them. that's why they're game managers

really? Cause I thought that QB's who manage games well in critical situations get rid of the ball to avoid sacks. JJ does several things well, but managing a game is not yet one of them.

Putting that loss squarely on his shoulders is pretty dumb IMO. Nobody showed up to play in that game.

that's why flynn threw a pick 6 against MSU in 2006 when JR was like 18 for 20 or something insane?

that's why JR's year in 2006 blew fynn's out of the water in 2007?

You lost me when you compared the abilities of these two. JaMarcus might be an idiot (and that is not a very big might btw) but his physical skills are off the charts. JJ is basically a running back playing quarterback.

Game manager just means you don't do stupid shite like throw into triple coverage when you are pressured, but you usually don't make big time plays either. That's pretty much been JJ this season.

I'll grant you the bad OL. Not all sacks are JJ's fault. But JJ goes off script way to often on pass plays. You see, a QB is actually supposed to throw on pass plays, hence the designation pass play.

Is that why not one but two coaching staffs, who saw more of the two than any fan in practice and scrimmages, started JR over Flynn?

wtf, like when? Was it when he was in the middle of the defensive huddle trying to motivate his team to get a stop? He has the teams respect, that is for sure

Easily the dumbest post of the day. And on so many levels.
