A sad/poor ending for JJ to an otherwise decent showing. He had some nice designed plays that he did well on, and several pocket snafus and really bad sacks. Had a few nice runs and a TD, but in the end, unfortunately, the last play on the long scramble and huge loss of yardage on the sack will be recalled a lot and damp out his otherwise decent game. Hope he gets some other looks. My work is done here.

I really think because of Jefferson's size, speed & his ability to run with the ball in open field, that an offensive minded coach with an eye for talent, will take a chance with Jefferson & move him tight end.
With the new fad in the NFL being tall, athletic, pass catching tight ends, someone may see his athletic ability & have the vision to develop him at that position. Whether it be in the 7th round or as an UDFA, some team may take a chance on him if they can envision him making a position change.
With that said, he has no chance whatsoever playing QB on the next level. If no one has the vision to change his position, then Jefferson will never play a meaningful professional snap ever.

Yeah, I was disspointed with his participation in this thread. I was trying to be supportive of a Tiger in possibly his last time ever wearing an LSU article in a real game.

JJ does not have the smarts or the heart to play in the NFL and the VERY INTELLIGENT "offensive minded coach with an eye for talent" knows this already.
Remember...it's all about JJ and that selfish mentality he has will be his downfall.

same as Lee. This is what gets me is that some fans seem to think Lee would have given LSU a chance against Alabama. Would have been the same Old stuff with him in there also. Neither one can deal with pressure. LSU doesn't and didn't need this kind of negativity. It hurts the program and other coaches took advantave of it during recruiting. Hopefully the fans can regroup and give the team a chance next season.
