but I havent seen anything from Brantley except a whole lot of hype.
Brantley

Jefferson
118/209 1411 Yards 7 touchdowns 10 interceptions

Did you just wake up from a 10 year coma?
I do not read anything you have said about JJ. Just who else is on the team. So if it weren't for them he would be nothing?

different NFL-caliber recievers he has thrown/will throw to. And finally (what everyone misses) a stable of running backs (not just one) but a STABLE of running backs to keep the defense guessing and open up the passing game

Ok Brageous
I'll actually carry on a conversation with you (minus the insults)
Jefferson his freshman year takes over for Jarrett lee and has a pretty good run capping a 35-3 halftime performance against GATech in the Peach Bowl. He, at the time, wasnt squarely under the tutelage of Gary Crowton...yet.
Under his tutelage, he had a 2009, and most of 2010 to forget. Once Gary was sat down as the OC (rumor has it before the Bama game) Miles took over the play calling, and whaddya know, Jefferson starts having good games again on-thru the A&M Bowl game.
Now, don't color me 'wildly optimistic', but all of these facts coupled with his spring performances makes me hopeful for the future. If anything can be said, it would be blame Les for not getting rid of Crowton sooner.
Now go ahead and add to your 40,000+ posts. You know alot more than me

not even one person came on here and told you to get his balls out of your mouth yet. What is up with the rant today? Where's rogertheslober, tuecan, JJ27 and their crew today?

Jefferson isn't the best qb on the team. Mettenber is much smarter, can read a defense and look off a db. Jefferson cant do any of the above.

yeah cause he looked so good doing that against Alabama last season.

It's kinda telling that threads knocking the LSU QB's are seen as ok/insightful/worthy, but ones being supportive/hopeful are laughed at/ridiculed/deemed not worthy in some way by some.
Far be it for me to defend the Rant but the critical ones are derided less in large part because they are more accurate. JJ was OK-to-good in 2009. In 2010, he sucked. He just did. He was terrible. So if you take the worst LSU QB-ing performance in years and try to get all cheerleaderly about it, you are going to get ridiculed. And rightly so.
